About Us
What we do
God Winks is a 501c3 non profit organization. We work with families facing a life threatening diagnosis or terminal circumstance and provide professional family portrait photography at no charge. Whether it be cancer, ALS, Alzheimers or any other potentially life threatening diagnosis, elderly in palliative care or end of life care, a baby in the NICU, stillbirth or miscarriage, we will meet your family at home, in hospital or health care center, or an outside location and create lasting memories of your family together. There is no need for professional referral. Contact us today!

Founder and President
Nadine Saviano, founder and president, is a career photographer, owner/operator of Nadine Saviano Photography , experienced in all photography genres. She recieves bereavement training and keeps up on specialty conferences to best work in difficult situations. "It was a series of God winks that lead me to found this organization. A ministry, if you will, to assist in the healing process for bereaved parents, families facing a difficult battle, or families posed with the thought of losing a loved one."

Is there a fee for services?
Never. There is a time and place to make money on photography and this is not it. At God Winks we want to offer services to those in need without the worry of cost. Services are paid for through donations and fundraising. Your gift of donation is greatly appreciated.

LIFE THREATENING DIAGNOSIS
From birth through adulthood, in the event that you or someone you know has been diagnosed with a life threatening illness, having pictures taken to capture the togetherness of family and friends can be very uplifting, as well as comforting to know there will be photographs to carry memories into the future.
STILLBIRTH or MISCARRIAGE
In the event of the tragedy of still birth or miscarriage, parents, siblings and grandparents suffer extreme confusion and heartbreak. The thought of having pictures taken at this time may seem odd or uncomfortable. But to capture the love you have for your baby in the short time that this little miracle is in your hands is priceless. These pictures will be cherished forever.
ELDERLY in END-OF-LIFE CARE
Preparing for the loss of a parent or grandparent in end-of-life care is difficult and upsetting. Having pictures taken to capture a family's togetherness and appreciation for life can be very uplifting, as well as comforting to know there will be photographs to carry memories into the future. Or imagine being able to hear their voice again, a favorite story or a message. Video recording services are also available.
What does the family get?
The family will receive a photo care package including a thumb drive holding all their high resolution printable images in both color and black and white, a hand picked selection of 5x7 prints and a pair of photo charms. This care package is shipped directly to the family within about 2 weeks.
